Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM) has a chapter at Penn! If you are interested, yeah join!

It's been a while since I've updated. It's been a very busy month, and I guess the biggest news is that I will no longer take any more premed classes. I've realized how much I love other subjects. When am I ever going to get the chance to take these classes again? To explore other options?

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

Who is your "misfit" in history?

On Campus, Finding Face Time in a Virtual Age

“One of the problems in American society today is that people don’t eat together anymore." A friend of mine belongs to a Thursdays food co-op. The current situation of scheduling in friends for meals is just crazy! To "schedule" and put a time limit on talking with friends....grrr!

From Cindy's xanga post:
wmn: "honey, if the guy doesn't take any initiative, he's just not that into you"

I feel sorry for the shy guys because this is how a lot of girls interprete the "signs," if there are any.
